Eggs!

Just before Easter we started the next literature book, Eggs!  In keeping with the theme of friendship- like Tiger Rising, we are finding MANY other similarities in this book.  The students are enjoying it.  I'll quote Justin, who said, after reading ahead to chapter 8--"it gets really, really good!!!"  That always makes a teacher happy to hear when students get in the Reading Zone!  :)  I really wish someone would come along and make movies of the last 3 books we've read!  (Edward Tulane, Tiger Rising and now, Eggs)  We continue to expand our vocabulary, INFER, make connections, predict and question in our Reader's Notebooks.  What rich characters we are meeting!!
